As consistently successful as DePaul’s football program has been the past two decades, none of the current Spartans was born the last time DePaul won a state championship in 1992. Ending DePaul’s drought has motivated the Spartans, particularly the team’s seniors, as they prepare to play undefeated Holy Spirit in the Non-Public Group 2 championship game Sunday at Rutgers.
