High School Football Previews

Wayne Valley: In high school sports, it is said that you are judged on your last performance. It defines you. If that is, in fact, the case, that is very bad news for the Wayne Valley football team. Wayne Valley's season ending 48-0 playoff loss to crosstown rivals Wayne Hills last November seems to greatly overshadow the fact that it has been a pretty good run for the Indians over the last six years.Wayne Valley, No. 6 in the North Jersey Media Group Top 11 preseason poll, has qualified for the playoffs five times and is 43-18 over that span. Wayne Hills: The execution wasn't exactly to Chris Olsen's liking. The Wayne Hills' football coach noticed a slight flaw in the way his offense ran it's goal-line formation at a recent practice and demanded that the unit run it again. "It has to be perfect. DePaul: Most of the pieces appear to be in place for the DePaul Catholic football team to have a successful season in 2011. There is, however, one glaring exception - quarterback.
