Coaches rarely admit that they look ahead. Most, at some point, have utilized the "taking one game at a time" cliché. Wayne Valley boys' basketball coach Joe Leicht, however, admits to occasionally looking ahead to 2010 during the 2008 season. That may seem a bit peculiar, since Leicht's 2008 squad went 20-10 and won a State Sectional title and is clearly one of Valley's best teams ever.
Still, Leicht had two good reasons to let his mind occasionally stray forward — sophomores Jason Rosenberg and Nick Siljee. Both were key contributors on the 2008 team, which was otherwise senior-laden. Finally, in 2010, they get to lead as seniors. Read More
