Zach Bednarczyk threw for 151 yards and
three touchdowns as DePaul, No. 2 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, won its
fifth straight game with a 54-7 triumph over Tenafly yesterday in
Tenafly.
Bednarczyk hit Hasise Duboise for passes of 60 and 55 yards in the first quarter as DePaul jumped out to a 27-7 lead after a period. He then connected with Matt Greff for a 25-yard scoring strike in the second quarter as DePaul built up a 41-7 halftime advantage.
Kareem Walker ran for two touchdowns for DePaul, while Pat Gunning, Shariq Marshall and Stephen Speidel each had a rushing score. Tenafly scored its only points in the first quarter, when Jared Levitt caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Chris Hammersma.
