As the Wayne Valley football team prepares for the 2013 season, head coach Brian O'Connor is preaching pride, discipline, persistence and commitment.
"There's no question in my mind that we have the talent to compete for Conference and State Sectional championships," said O'Connor, now entering his 12th year on Valley Road. "To do that, we have to instill qualities in our players that will help them face challenges on and off the field."
With that in mind, O'Connor invited the United States Marine Corps to Wayne Valley last Friday to conduct a leadership seminar.
