When Kevin Grimes was coaching AAU basketball at the Wayne PAL in 2008 and 2009, he watched admiringly as Jim Catalano’s Wayne Hills basketball teams finished 19-8 both years.
“Those were some teams,” recalls
Grimes. “They had two 1,000 point scores in Steve Lequerica and Joe Russo. They
were fun to watch.”
