Anthony Simone's RBI single into center field scored Dan Wronka with
the winning run as Wayne Valley (14-5) scored three in the bottom of the
seventh inning to defeat DePaul, 9-8, in Wayne.
Wronka's RBI single plated Vin Gleason to make it 8-7 and John Anthony
Pizzi tied the game for Wayne Valley with an RBI single, scoring Matt
Rugel.
Michael Monteleone had three RBIs for DePaul. John Budesa, Joe Cirillo, and Michael Kelly batted in runs as well.
Simone had an RBI earlier in the game for Valley. Mike Cornell also knocked in two runs. Mike Elia, Santaniello and Gleason also batted in runs.
