Mike D'Amato pitched a seven-hit shutout as Wayne Valley (13-4) defeated Wayne Hills, 3-0, in Wayne. D'Amato struck out six and walked one for Wayne Valley and got out of a
bases loaded, one-out jam in the seventh inning with a line drive double
play to second baseman Chris Snataniello. Anthony Simone led off the
first with a home run, John Anthony Pizzi was 2-for-3 with an RBI and
Vin Gleason was 2-for-3 with a run.
Marc Imbimbo struck out eight in seven innings, allowing three runs, eight hits and three walks for Wayne Hills (8-9). Erik Moskal doubled.
