Baseball: Wayne Valley 15, Bergen Catholic 5
Matt Rugel hit two home runs as he went 3-for-4 with two runs to
power Wayne Valley to a 15-5 victory over Bergen Catholic. Rugel's three-run home highlighted a seven-run fourth inning for Wayne
Valley. Mike Elia led off the fifth inning with a solo home run and
Anthony Simone added a three-run home run. Winning pitcher Jake Anderson
allowed five runs (three earned), six hits and two walks with five
strikeouts in six innings.
