Brian Kokos scattered five hits, struk out four, singled twice and drove home a run to propel Valley (3-0) past Hills (2-1). Valley's Anthony Simone threw out a Hills baserunner at the plate for the third out of the fifth inning. Steven Adesso surrendered just four hits and fired seven strike outs for Hills. Eric Moskal led Hills with two hits. Chris Amato, Jason Avidissian and Mark Imbimbo also hit safely.
