Without question, the 2010 field hockey season at Wayne Hills will be different than the past two seasons. After compiling a combined, 32-6-2 record in 2008 and 2009, which included consecutive North Jersey, Section I, Group III titles, the Patriots have been hit hard by graduation. But head coach Jenn Badami remains undeterred, feeling this year's team has the potential to carry on the high level of success which has defined the program of late.
The three captains this year will be seniors Emily Spazante, a center-midfielder, forward Kate Freeswick and last year's leading scorer, Nicole Modak. Juniors Hanna Lucas, a midfielder, Angelica Giammetta, a forward, should provide Wayne Hills a very impressive offensive front. Click here to read more.
WayneSports.com was established in 2003. It provides local sports to schools in Wayne and in the surrounding communities.
