Boys Lacrosse: Non Public Group B Semifinals: Pingry 8, DePaul 7

Sophomore Middie Pat Lackey scored his first goal of the season with 46 seconds remaining in regulation to give Pingry the edge in the semifinal round of the Non-Public B state tournament in Wayne. Lackey's goal was even more improbable as it was scored a man-down after Pingry (7-11) had committed a penalty with just over a minute remaining in the game. Matt Damstrom scored three goals and added an assist, Chris Albanese chipped in with two goals and Dylan Westerhold made nine saves for Pingry. Joe Moreno and Mike Caposella each scored twice for DePaul (16-3), which received 13 saves from Alex Pfeiffer.
