Baseball: Wayne Hills 7, Ramapo 3

Senior first baseman Kevin Solomon belted a grand slam in the sixth inning to snap a 3-3 tie for Wayne Hills (8-7) in Franklin Lakes. Solomon added a single and concluded with five RBI. Tony Zaffino, making his first varsity start on the mound, hurled a six-hitter striking out five and walking four for Wayne Hills. Warren Hartman hit a homer and had two RBI for Ramapo (6-9).
