Baseball: Passaic County Championship: Wayne Valley 5, Passaic Valley 4

Max Wassel hit two homeruns and Drew Sous knocked in a run to put Passaic Valley (No. 2, 19-11) up 4-0 in the Passaic County championship game. Wayne Valley (No. 5, 19-10) stormed back to win it by scoring five runs in the last two innings. Mike Tolerico blasted in three runs off two round-trippers and Zach Rosen knocked in a run to even the game, 4-4. The winning run came home when Chris Edie drew a bases loaded walk. Wayne's starting pitcher Andrew Furber surrendered four hits in four innings. Sophomore Brian Kokos earned the win, giving up just three hits in three innings of relief. This was Wayne Valley fourth-ever Passaic County title (1981, 1986, 1988, 2010). More Details, Photos and Quotes To Come!
