Senior forward Nick Siljee dropped in 19 points and had six boards, five assists and three steals. Junior guard Tom Larranaga had 14 points and Jason Rosenberg, a senior guard, added 12 points and 12 assists for sixth-seeded Wayne Valley in the first round of the Passaic County Tournament in Wayne. Andrew Herasimtchuk and Keith Greve had 13 and 10 points respectively. Mark Tucker had 5 rebounds. Center Ben DeWaal-Malefyt topped all scorers with 23 points for Eastern Christian, the 11th seed.
