Wayne Hills (13-12) played valiantly in its regular season finale, only to lose a heart breaker. Bergen's Sean McGuire canned the winning jump shot with 30 seconds remaining. Chris Fonti led Hills with 17 points. Matt Heskins and Joe Brandl added 11 and 10 points respectively.
Hills (No. 13) meets Teaneck (No. 4) in the first round of the State Tournament Monday. The winner will meet the Jefferson (No. 5)-Ramapo (No. 12) winner.
