Wally Sajimi scored on a layup with 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give host DePaul (7-1) the victory at DePaul. Matt Miller came through with 20 points and Davon Jacobs had 12 for DePaul. Jason Rosenberg, a senior point guard, had 19 points for Wayne Valley (5-3). Nick Siljee and Anthony Verrili had 16 and 12 points respectively. Rosenberg finished with 9 assists. Siljee and Andrew Herasimtschuk had 4 boards apiece.
