DePaul’s Mikayla Couch would not let the Spartans’ first trip through the Passaic County girls tennis tournament be only an experience. She wanted to leave a winner. In one of the matches of the day, Couch battled back and forth with reigning first-singles champion Nina Zakotnik of Wayne Hills for a spot in the final.
