Tournament Brackets
Nicole Modak scored the lone goal for Wayne Hills (12-1-1). Stephanie Zygmunt had 10 saves for Wayne. Jenny Tafro had both goals for PV (14-3). Danielle Coiro and Victoria Gonzalez dished out the assists for PV. Samantha Dilkes had 8 saves for the victors.
Wayne Hills coach Jenn Badami credited Passaic Valley with a good performance.
"They're a relentless defensive team," Badami said. "We had our chances, but they were made plays on defense. Passaic Valley had a tremendous tournament. Our kids will bounce back from this. We'll get ready for the state tournament and hopefully get a chance to play Passaic Valley again."
