Football: DePaul 44, Memorial West New York 0

Junior quarterback Dan Kowal threw for a touchdown and passed for a score as DePaul (4-2) won. Wymere Robinson carried eight times for 83 yards and a touchdown. Fullback Jon Wozney got DePaul rolling with a 4-yard TD rush and Mike Burgio added the first of his six kicks.

After linebacker John Proctor tackled the Memorial punter in the end zone for a safety, Kowal sailed 40 yards for a touchdown. Robinson followed with a 1-yard plunge as the Spartans forged a 23-0 halftime advantage.

Shakim Phillips returned the second half kickoff 85 yards for a TD. Slot back Dan Foesel caught a 28-yard TD toss from Kowal when DePaul expanded its lead to 37-0 in the third period.
Junior runner Robert Foster ended the scoring for DePaul with a 1-yard burst in the fourth quarter.

Kowal and Devon Jacobs had interceptions for DePaul. Massimo Aronson had a sack.
