The Wayne Hills field hockey team is off to a tremendous start as it looks to win its first Passaic County championship in five years. Wayne Hills opened its season with a 5-0 win over Northern Valley of Demarest on Sept. 14. Other than a scoreless tie against Lakeland two days later, the Patriots have been very impressive, scoring 34 goals in its last eight games en route to a 9-0-1 record entering this week's action.
