Wayne Valley 37, Montclair 12

Matt Castles ran for two touchdowns and a caught another from Pete Savastano as Valley (1-1) pounded Montclair, the longtime Group IV power. Savastano also rushed for two touchdowns. This was the first ever football meeting between the two football proud schools.

Greg LaNeve led Valley with 165 rushing yards. Savastano threw for 199 yards and ran for 85. Mark Tucker paced the defense with 10 tackles, including three sacks. Michael Fusco added 7 tackles.

Next up for Wayne Valley is a home game against Wayne Hills (2-0). Hills will enter the game with a 54 game win streak.
