All along, DePaul senior Shakim Phillips had said he wanted to make a college decision before the 2009 season started, but was also quick to say it was something he wasn't going to force. After all, the Paterson resident admitted that choosing a school wasn't his main focus as he had one big year of high school football left. So just prior to the Spartans' opening game against highly-touted St. Joseph Regional-Montvale at Giants Stadium last Friday night, Phillips decided that Boston College is the school that best fits his needs.
