Two days after losing to Eastside in the Passaic County Tournament, Valley came back to defeat Eastside in a regular season matchup in Paterson. Mike Elia pitched a complete game,
scattering six hits, striking out nine and walking none. Anthony DiBartolo and Tyler Blumenstyk had RBI singles as Wayne Valley scored its four runs in the first inning.
The next day, Valley (15-6) beat Kennedy, the other team from Paterson. Joe Pascucci was 2-for-3 for Wayne Valley with a double and two RBI. Pascucci also earned the win on the mound, striking three batters out in six innings.Justin Woll was 3-for-4 for Wayne Valley with a double, two runs scored and two RBI.
