Football: St. Joseph's-Montvale 35, Wayne Hills 0

Sherman Alston ran for 101 yards and a touchdown and Devin Cividini had a 55-yard interception return for a score to cap a 28-point first quarter as St. Joseph gave Wayne Hills (3-1) its first loss of the season. The St. Joes roster includes includes players from all over New Jersey and parts of New York, while the Hills roster includes players in Wayne, north of Ratzer Road.A grossly unfair matchup for Wayne Hills.

St. Joseph quarterback Spencer Aukamp was 7-of-8 for 153 yards and threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to R.J. Edwards in the first quarter for the Montvale squad.  Quai Jefferson had a 30-yard touchdown run and Anthony Paolello had a 15-yard fumble return for a score for St. Joseph, which scored all of its points in the first half.
