The Wayne Valley football team unveiled a new helmet logo in today's preseason game with Indian Hills. For many years, Wayne Valley has sported the WV logo, which resembles the WV logo worn by West Virginia University. The new logo (see photo of quarterback Billy Crank above) is an Indian Spear, which resembles the Florida State Seminole spear. Wayne Valley sported this logo once before - in the 2001 season. Valley beat Indian Hills handily today. They open with West Milford next Thursday night at home. More photos to come.
