is a sport filled with “unbreakable” records. There is, for example, Joe

Wayne Nationals and all four state finalists
Only four New Jersey-based Little
League teams are still alive with one week remaining in July. The Wayne Nationals, Toms River East, Nutley East and East Greenwich all
won their respective Sectional State Tournaments last week and advanced to

and will represent the Garden State at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament

The Little League World Series,
after all, is a global baseball tournament for children aged 11 and 12 years
old. Named for the World Series in Major League baseball, it was first played
in 1947 and culminates every August in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Little
League Baseball charters more than 7,000 leagues. Nearly 6,000 of them are in
the United States. There are 2.5 million Little League players worldwide. The
global field is divided into 16 geographic regions (8 national and 8
international).
