Little League Baseball: Wayne Nationals claim first State Sectional title since 1970

The Wayne Little League National team advanced to the New Jersey State Tournament for the first time since 1970 after defeating Parsippany, 11-1 last night in the State Sectional title game. The 1970 team went on to capture the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. 

Wayne now turns its attention to the State Tournament. They will take on the winner of tonight's Section II winner - Nutley East vs. Hoboken (Wednesday in Wallington, 5:30 p.m.)
