The DePaul Spartans are sure they’re a much different football team, literally and figuratively, than the squad St. Joseph dismantled, 35-6, on Sept. 10.
They’ve got seven starters who are new to the first string or are at different positions than they played two months ago. They’re also more experienced, prepared to succeed and confident that they can defeat the top Non-Public, Group 3 team in North Jersey when DePaul plays St. Joseph in the State semifinals Saturday in Montvale.
