Wayne went three-for-three in North Jersey Junior Football League Super Bowl games this past weekend at Barbour's Pond in Wayne.
The Wayne Boys Club 7th and 8th grade seniors defeated Glen Rock, 45-7 as Jesse McMullen scored on runs of 16 and 47 yards. Justin Walker scored on a 60-yard fumble return. Travis Bligh, Robert Williams, Nick DePalma and Chris Sciavone tacked on rushing scores. Williams, McMullen and Sciavone also scored extra points.
The Wayne PAL 5th and 6th grade juniors edged Pequannock, 20-15 when Nick Goodwin scored a touchdown on a quarterback sneak and threw touchdowns to Vincent Tedesco and Brandon Kui. Steven Prince scored a two-point conversion on a pass from Goodwin.
The PAL Pee Wees blanked Kinnelon, 14-0 as Anthony Puntolillo and Danny Dentinger scored the touchdowns and extra points. Matthew Alaimo had a great catch on a pass from Dario Sirni on the first scoring drive. Defensive standouts included Patrick Gilmore, Matthew Alaimo, Michael Alaimo, Puntolillo and Dentinger.
