Nico Andresakes went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Wayne Valley in its 9-8 victory
over Wayne Hills. The win gives Valley a share of the Big North Independence Division
championship. Tyler Blumenstyk finished 2-for-4 with two RBI for Wayne Valley, which came
from behind after trailing 6-0 in the second inning. Wayne Valley was also down 8-6 entering the bottom of the sixth inning.
Andresakes tied the game 8-8 with a single and Blumenstyk walked with the bases
loaded to get the winning run home. Mike LoPresti and Chris McClurg added three hits apiece. Joe Pascucci had 2 RBI. Alex Kokos had two hits.
Dan Abate went 3-for-4 with two triples and two RBI to pace Wayne Hills. Joe Simone had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Joe Curcio had 2 hits, while Brian Marcus and Chris Phillips had an RBI each.
