Boys Basketball: Wayne Valley 51, Wayne Hills 34

Chris Homsi led Wayne Valley (11-4) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Jay Mustafa added 12 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds. Andrew Keane added 11 points. James Grevenitz chipped in with 7. Gary Choka collected 6 rebounds. Arris Hunt led Wayne Hills (6-9) with 13 points. Scott Wills added 9. Gezim Usini had 7.

Gezmin Usini led Hills with 14 points. Scott Wills and Arris Hunt had 9 and 8 points respectively.

Chris Homsi had 19 points and James Grevenitz had 17 for Wayne Valley (9-4). Scott Arkin and Luke Primerano chipped in with 8 points apiece. Jay Mustafa had 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Luke Primerano led the team with 7 rebounds. Homsi collected 5 boards.

Basketball Roundups

Paramus Catholic 68, DePaul 56: Josh Marquez scored 20 points, but DePaul (11-2) still lost for just the second time this season. Davon Jacobs chipped in with 13 points.

West Milford 67, Wayne Hills 60: Gezim Usini erupted for 20 points to lead Hills (5-7). Corey VanderPloeg added 10 points. Scott Wills and Darium Haber had 9 and 8 points respectively.

New Policy Means Coaches Can't be Their Own Supervisors

The Board of Education approved a new policy Thursday prohibiting administrators and supervisors from coaching sports teams or acting as advisors of any district athletic, co-curricular, or extra-curricular program.
