The Wayne Little League National team won the District 2 Championship by defeating Pequannock in the final in West Milford. The Wayne Little League was founded in 1958. This is only the eighth time that Wayne has won the District crown (1962, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1980, 2005, 2009, 2012). Wayne now moves onto the State Sectional Tournament which starts Monday in Piscataway.
