5/24/07: DePaul 11, Lakeland 2: Mike Pesci and Zach D'Andrea belted in three runs each for DePaul (16-10). Bryan Gambuzza homered. Matt Tomczyk and Daniel Deighan knocked in the runs for Lakeland.
5/22/07: DePaul 11, Paramus Catholic 3: Zach D'Andrea hammered in five runs to lead DePaul (15-10). Alexander Mott contributed two RBI. Kevin Touw and Bryan Gambuzza each knocked in an RBI for the winners.
5/19/07: Passaic County Tournament Quarterfinals: PCT 7, DePaul : Kervin Rivera hit a double and two singles, brought in three runs and scored one for third-seeded Passaic Tech (14-6). Rivera had an RBI single in the third inning and a two-run double in a three-run fifth to give Tech a 6-2 advantage. Winner Anthony Collazo went six innings, gave up three hits and struck out 11. Zach Dandrea belted a two-run home run in the first inning, doubled and walked twice for DePaul (14-10), the sixth seed.
5/18/07: DePaul 9, Caldwell 7: Mark Tanis knocked in four runs to lead DePaul (14-9). Mike Pesci and Eric Hill contributed two RBI apiece. Ryan Scully earned the win from the hill.
5/16/07: DePaul 8, Lakeland 4: Eric Hill, Mike Pesci and TJ Kowal slapped in two runs apiece for DePaul (13-9). Matthew Tomczyk knocked in three runs for Lakeland (11-9).
5/15/07: DePaul 16, Madison 7: Mark Tanis had four RBI and Kevin Touw had three to lead DePaul (12-9). Zach D'Andrea and TJ Kowal added two apiece.
5/12/07: Passaic County Tournament, First Rounds, DePaul 7, Lakeland 1: Mark Tanis led DePaul (No. 6, 11-8) by going 3-for-3 with a walk, home run, RBI and two runs scored. He also earned his fifth win of the season. Tanis got his team rolling in the first inning when he lined a home run off the right-field foul pole. Sophomore Steve Alfano singled in T.J. Kowal in the second and DePaul increased its lead to 3-0 in the third when Eric Hill tripled in Tanis. DePaul's four-run sixth inning was highlighted by a two-run double by Kowal. Kowal and Bryan Gambuzza finished with two RBI apiece for the Spartans.
Lakeland (No. 11, 10-8-1) stranded 11 runners. They scored in the seventh when Chris Economou came in on Brad Smith's groundout to shortstop.
5/5/07: DePaul 2, Pequannock 1: Kevin Touw knocked in the winning run for DePaul (10-6). Mark Tanis allowed six hits enroute to the win. Martin Kelly had Pequannock's (11-5) RBI. Jordan Tabakman struck out four for the Pathers.
5/3/07: DePaul 10, Butler 7: Mark Tanis and T.J. Kowal had two RBI apiece for DePaul. Jordan Greenberg smacked in three runs for Butler. Greenberg, Matthew Paventa, James Morrissey and Andrew Turzilli homered for Butler. Kowal and Mike Pesci homered for DePaul.
5/2/07: Wayne Valley 11, DePaul 9: Charlie Rigoglioso belted a double, three singles, four RBI and scored three runs. John Kruse hit a homer, a single and knocked in three runs for Wayne Valley (9-3). T.J. Kowal drove in three runs for DePaul (8-5). Zach D'Andrea and Mike Pesci had two RBI apiece for the Spartans. Greg Sciametta knocked in two more runs for the Indians.
5/1/07: DePaul 10, Eastern Christian 0: Zach D'Andrea led DePaul (8-4) with three RBI. Thaddeus Kowal and Mark Tanis added two RBI apiece. Tanis allowed just three hits enroute to the win.
4/28/07: DePaul 13, Kennedy 3: Byran Gambuzza knocked in three runs to lead DePaul (7-4). David Stark, Zach D'Andrea and Eric Hill had two RBI apiece. Alexander Mott earned the win.
4/26/07: DePaul 13, Caldwell 7: DePaul (6-4) struck for eight runs in the top of the seventh to erase a 6-5 deficit. Winning pitcher Mark Tanis hit a three-run home run in a four-run first and drove in four runs. T.J. Kowal had three RBI for DePaul. Dan Garden brought home two runs for Caldwell (6-6), which scored six runs in the fourth to take a 6-4 lead.
4/24/07: DePaul 11, Madison 1: Zach D'Andrea belted in four runs to lead DePaul (5-4). Mike Pesci surrendered just one hit and also knocked in a run.
4/20/07: Passaic Valley 8, DePaul 6: Mike Ardis knocked in two runs to help lift Passaic Valley (6-1). Eric Hill belted a two-run home run and T.J. Kowal contributed a solo homer for DePaul (4-4).
4/19/07: DePaul 8, Elmwood Park 4: Winning pitcher Mike Pesci struck out nine to lead DePaul (4-2). Bryan Gambuzza knocked in three runs and Mark Tanis and A.J. Mott had an RBI apiece
4/16/07: DePaul 10, Montclair Kimberly 4: Eric Hill hit four singles and two RBI as DePaul (3-2) beat Montclair Kimberly, 10-4. Zach Dandrea smashed a two-run homer and Mark Tanis drove in three runs for the Spartans. Winning pitcher more Matt Carlson and freshman A.J. Mott combined for a seven-hitter. TJ Kowal and Joseph Gannon knocked in runs for the winners.
4/14/07: DePaul 14, Pequannock 7: Mark Tanis had five RBI to lift DePaul. Eric Hill and TJ Kowal chipped in with two RBI. Zach D'Andrea contributed two RBI. Jordan Tabakman and Tim Wysocki had three RBI apieace for Pequannock.
