The Wayne Valley boys basketball team is 7-0 for the first time since 2012. That team went on to finish 22-6. That's the best record in head coach Joe Leicht's 13 years at Wayne Valley. It was also one of only five times Valley has ever hit the 20-win mark.
Senior Nick Goodwin led Valley past Fair Lawn by scoring 16 points and ripping down 15 rebounds. Senior Nick Giuliano added 7 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Junior Elijah Beard had 8 rebounds. Senior Alex Kokos had 7 points. Senior John Zarka, senior Chris Khayat and Beard added 4 points apiece. Zarka had 4 steals.
