Boys Basketball: Wayne Valley 52, Lakeland 45

Wayne Valley (12-5) topped Lakeland, 52-45, in Wayne behind a career-high 24 points from Andrew Popadics.  Nick Goodwin added 13 points for Wayne Valley, which used a 36-25 second half to erase a four-point deficit at halftime. Popadics scored 16 of his points in the second half and also grabbed 12 rebounds. Goodwin accounted for 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Kyle Greve had 9 points and 4 assists. Alex Kokos had 6 assists. Brett Reilly and Jake Catalioto scored 17 and 13 points, respectively, for Lakeland.
