Nick Goodwin ran for one touchdown and passed to Chris McClurg for another to lead Wayne Valley to a 38-0 victory over Fair Lawn in an NJSIAA consolation game in Wayne. Mark DeLuise ran for two scores and Eric Jankowitz ran for another. Jankowitz kicked five extra points. Vin Gencarelli had 8 tackles. Valley finishes the season 5-5. It's the team's first .500 record since 2010.

"We had a few rough weeks in a row, so this (the win over Fair Lawn) is a little bitter sweet," Wayne Valley head coach Roger Kotlarz said in reference to Valley's three game losing streak. "It makes us .500 on the season, so we'll take it. It's a small step in the right direction. That's what we'll try to build on next year. We've got a lot of talented players coming back next year. They're all excited about the possibilities."
